LARGE PORES? FINE LINES? WRINKLES?

So lets start off with a little background information on my skin type. I am a normal skin type with an oily t-zone. So, I just get a little shine throughout the day. I don’t have very large pores, but I do want that perfected silky smooth skin. I mean… who doesn’t?

I have tried so many different primers that claim to be ‘pore filling’ (Benefit Porefessional, Smashbox Pore minimizing primer, Too Faced Primed and Poreless) and I will say they are good primers and get the job done, but I have discovered something better!

MAKE UP FOR EVER STEP 1 Skin Equalizer; Smoothing

“SMOOTHING PRIMER instantly fills in and blurs imperfections for silky soft skin. This satiny, non-oily formula evens out skin texture by minimizing pores, wrinkles and fine lines. Skin looks resurfaced and perfectly smooth for a flawless makeup all day long.” -MAKEUPFOREVER.COM

To address the claims that the brand says this product is and does, I will completely agree. This product definitely fills in and blurs out imperfections on the skin. I don’t have very large pores but they are visible and I’d like to minimize them as much as possible. My pores do disappear leaving my skin flawless and completely smooth without feeling like silicone or overly slippery as previous pore primers have felt like for me. My foundation of choice glides onto my skin leaving me with FLAWLESS skin! I mainly focus the primer in the center of my face where pores are visible and where I tend to get oily and it is just a match made in heaven for me.

I have tested this primer on mature skin as well and it does a great job at preventing the liquid makeup from settling into any fine lines and/or wrinkles.

PROS:

  • A small amount of product goes a long way
  • Lightweight
  • Minimizes appearance of pores
  • Flawless looking skin
  • Long wearing
  • Fast-absorbing

CONS:

  • Price: $36

Overall, I think this product is worth the price. It definitely delivers results and does everything that it is claimed to do. If pores, fine lines and/or wrinkles are an issue for you, I’d give this product a try. 🙂 Maybe you don’t have pores or wrinkles but you want silky buttery skin. This will do the trick!
